Sun Phocus Technologies is an Illinois LLC, formed in 2005 to commercialize its proprietary holographic planar concentrator (HPC) technology, called HoloSun™, for electricity-generating solar windows, skylights and window walls.   Sun Phocus is the first and only company to use HoloSun™ in the building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) market, and has a worldwide, exclusive license from the patent holder (Illinois Institute of Technology) for this application for the life of the patent.
